From the description provided, I understand that the Windows installer crashes while installing app with the fault code 2503 and 2502 after y'all made some changes to the registry.
I would suggest you to follow the below recommended methods and cheque if it helps.
Method one:
Try to place the computer in a clean boot land and bank check with the results. Please follow below.
A. To disable all not-Microsoft services consult the article called Clean Kicking.

Bro I plant the solution Accidentally Steps:
Step 1 :- Unregister and re-register the Windows Installer
a) Press the 'Windows + R' key on the keyboard to open the Run Control dialog box and type MSIEXEC /UNREGISTER, and then click OK.
b) Click Start, click Run, type MSIEXEC /REGSERVER,
Step two :- Open Explorer with administrator Privilege
a)Open task manager, goto finish or detail tab end task explorer.exe
b)Open explorer with ambassador privilege.
Footstep three :- Open up This PC or Computer who renamed it
a)Right-click on windows folder click properties, goto security tab click advanced
Change owner to administrator User Supervene upon possessor.... cheque this box. Click OK it will take time if files are being used.
b)and so again security tab click edit Check full control box for user(your name) and Administrator.

I've just ran into the same trouble (error 2503, 2502, etc.)
My computer was outset installed over a year ago and I've been installing all the Insider builds, as well equally a ton of tools like Visual Studio, Xamarin, SQL Server, multiple versions of Java (bah!), and quite a lot more applications, including some weird ones.
I decided to uninstall quite a few and try to amend my reckoner's operation a bit, still, most show one or more of these errors while attempting to uninstall.
My decision was to practice a make clean install on my computer.
If you lot get these errors and they use to multiple programs, that probably means something'south seriously broken. Information technology probably takes less time to reinstall everything, and at to the lowest degree you lot know the trouble volition be solved, not mended with scotch tape.
Still, if you want to just uninstall a specific program and are ok with these errors, you can effort this:

UPDATE: I had an Insider build (14955) with lots of problems and I upgrader to an (apparently) stabler version (14959), and these errors magically went away, and I was able to uninstall a bunch of programs via Programs and Features.

Method two worked to allow Python 2.seven.11 to exist uninstalled from Win 10.
Ran as Administrator to run "uninstall python". Finally !!!
I didn't try the other two methods.

Harry, you D'Human! That worked for me. Either Microsoft is irresolute all permissions to "Trusted Installer" during an update of some application is hijacking permissions to the Windows directory.
Changing all the permissions back to Administrator worked like a charm. I tin at present uninstall any awarding that I desire without getting the dreaded fault message...
The installer has encountered an unexpected error installing this package. This may point a problem with this parcel. The error code is 2503.

I retrieve that they have fixed it. I'm running Windows ten Version 1709 (OS Build 16299.125) and I've not come across this problem as of late on any of the desktops I work on oft.
